  • 3 cups cooked turkey, shredded or cubed
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or egg noodles)
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • optional topping: ½ cup breadcrumbs mixed with 1 tbsp melted butter

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

    2. Combine cooked pasta, turkey, mixed vegetables, condensed soup, milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the cheese in a large bowl.

    3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

    4. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the casserole and add breadcrumbs if desired.

    5. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly golden.
