1. Steam cauliflower florets until tender, about 8–10 minutes, then drain thoroughly.
2. Melt butter in a pan and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Combine steamed cauliflower, garlic butter, cream cheese, Parmesan and optional protein powder in a blender or food processor.
4. Blend until smooth, adding heavy cream sparingly to reach desired consistency.
5. Season with salt and pepper and blend briefly to incorporate.
6. Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with parsley or chives and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan.
