  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
  • 3 cups prepared mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200 C).

    2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    3. Add ground beef and season with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, then cook until browned and no pink remains, about 4 to 5 minutes.

    4. Stir in frozen mixed vegetables and beef broth, then simmer until the liquid reduces and vegetables are tender, about 3 to 4 minutes.

    5. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.

    6. Spoon mashed potatoes over the filling and smooth the top. Sprinkle cheese if using.

    7. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until the top begins to brown. For a crispier crust, broil for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely.
